Interkulturalität und internationale Verständigung stärken – das hat das Programm Meet US zum Ziel. Der Besuch der Fremdsprachenassistentin und Fulbright-Stipendiatin Gloria Conatser am 19.1.2023 bereicherte den Unterricht der 10. und 11. Klassen.

Hier noch eine Grußbotschaft von der weltoffenen Amerikanerin aus Texas:

The staff and students of Bernhard-Strigel-Gymnasium were kind enough to welcome me into their town and school on January 19th. I visited with three of classes of students and all had unique perspectives and questions, though there was plenty of overlap. As part of my job here in Germany, I am tasked with facilitating cultural exchange and fostering mutual understanding, and this group were so receptive and open that it didn’t feel like work at all. I loved the opportunity to engage with such open and knowledgeable people. Thank you for having me, I hope to visit again sometime! Special thanks to Mrs. Nagler for helping arrange everything and showing me Memmingen!
